Deadline For Submitting Names for Schools Or Facilities In Dallas ISD Is March 31

DALLAS—Wednesday, March 31, is the last day to submit a name for this year's naming cycle for schools, facilities or parts of facilities.

Anyone can submit recommendations on a district form that can be accessed through the district's online policy manual at http://www.tasb.org/policy/pol/private/057905/pol.cfm?DisplayPage=CW(XHIBIT).pdf.

In general, facilities and portions of facilities can be named for:



A facility or portion of a facility cannot be named for an individual unless he or she is at least 70 years old or has been deceased for at least 18 months or the naming is a condition of a gift or grant.
