Dallas ISD Students To Pledge To Stay Drug And Alcohol Free On Prom Night

In exchange for their pledge, students will receive free prom dresses/tuxedos

DALLAS–Dallas Independent School District 11th and 12th graders will participate in the 9th Annual BuzzFree PROMises Dress and Tuxedo Giveaway from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, March 6, at St. Luke Community UMC Life Center, 6211 East Grand Avenue.

Hosted by Dallas ISD, the Greater Dallas Council on Alcohol and Drug Abuse, area school districts and community organizations, the BuzzFree PROMises Dress and Tuxedo Giveaway provides free dresses and tuxedos for the prom to students who pledge to stay drug and alcohol free on prom night.

The mission of the event is to encourage, promote and reward safe and healthy choices made by students who thrive in adverse conditions within our community.
