Dallas ISD Adds Fifth Townhall Meeting To Discuss 2010-2011 Budget

Community Encouraged to Attend to Provide Input

DALLAS—The Dallas Independent School District has added a fifth townhall meeting to its schedule to allow community discussion and input regarding the 2010-2011 district budget.

The sessions will be from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on the following dates at these locations:

• Thursday, May 20, Walnut Hill Elementary School, 10115 Midway Road

• Monday, June 7, Albert Sidney Johnston Elementary School, 2020 Mouser St.
• 
  
• Tuesday, June 8, Bryan Adams High School, 2101 Millmar Dr.
• 
  
• Tuesday, June 15, Maria Moreno Elementary School, 2115 S. Hampton Rd.
• 
  
• Thursday, June 17, E.B. Comstock Middle School, 7044 Hodde St.

Chief Financial Officer Larry Throm will provide information about the budget process and give the public an opportunity to make comments and ask questions.
