Site will feature articles, photos, video and links to spread news about the district
DALLAS – The Dallas Independent School District has established a Facebook page to offer an additional outlet for spreading the district's news.
The Communications Services Department maintains the page. News releases, photos, videos, and links to internal and external articles may be shared quickly with Facebook users interested in district events and activities.
The new social networking presence for Dallas ISD is occurring in tandem with a redesign of the district's main Web site, www.dallasisd.org, slated for completion in time for the start of the 2010-2011 school year. Both efforts are designed to improve communication with the community.
