Parents Can Sign Up to Use the Parent Portal on Thursday, Jan. 27
DALLAS–Parents and guardians of students in Dallas Independent School District Schools can sign up to use the Parent Portal on Thursday, Jan. 27, at participating schools.
The Parent Portal allows Dallas ISD parents the opportunity to view up-to-date information about their children's academic progress, grades, standardized test scores, attendance, assignments, and progress toward graduation. Parents and guardians of students at all of the comprehensive high schools, all of the magnet high schools, 18 middle schools, and four elementary schools now have access to the Parent Portal and the important, individualized information it provides. The Parent Portal program will continue to expand to other Dallas ISD campuses.
To have access to the Parent Portal, parents must visit their child's school on Thursday, Jan. 27, and take a photo I.D. to register. To find out if participating schools will have specific registration times, parents should contact their child's school. This invitation is only for parents or guardians who have not previously registered. To find out which schools are participating in the Parent Portal and for more information about the program, visit the Web site http://www.dallasisd.org/parents/parentportal.htm
