Rally Scheduled for Saturday, March 26
DALLAS–Dallas Independent School District Board Trustee Lew Blackburn, District 5, will host an Academic Pep Rally for the A. Maceo Smith High School cluster schools, at 9 a.m., Saturday, March 26, at A. Maceo Smith High School, 3030 Stag Road.
Students who have achieved 90s in their core subject classes will be eligible to win prizes. Students must bring their report cards, and parents or legal guardians must be present to receive the prize. There will also be prizes for parents and teachers.
The event will celebrate District 5 schools' academic excellence in math, science, English/language arts, and history/social studies.
