Dallas ISD Providing Platform for Students to Speak to Educators and Community
DALLAS—More than 1,000 Dallas ISD students are expected to attend Reflections of an Inner City Male, a student speak out focusing on how educators, parents, and community leaders can help ensure success for all students.
The speak out will be held 9 a.m. to noon, Saturday, February 26, at the Inspiring Body of Christ Church, 7710 South Westmoreland.
During the speak out, male students in middle and high school will share their thoughts on a number of issues including what educators can do to help students experience success in the classroom. They will also take a look at what the community can do to help students develop a positive self image.
