Blake Mycoskie, the Founder of TOMS shoes and his team will visit the school to design the shoes
DALLAS–Dallas Independent School District's North Dallas High School students participated in the Styling their Soles program and have created artwork which will be the design of several TOMS shoes.
In a partnership with Steelcase Inc., Blake Mycoskie, founder of TOMS shoes and a group of his artists, will visit North Dallas High School at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 14. During the visit, Mycoskie's artists will design TOMS shoes with artwork created by students. The artwork has an Asian theme in honor of the tsunami victims in Japan. While the artists work on designing TOMS shoes, Micoskie will address students about the importance of giving back to the community and will talk about this One for One campaign. Through the One for One campaign, for every pair purchased, TOMS gives a pair to a child in need.
