Groundbreaking Ceremony to Take Place for Woodrow Wilson High School's Campus Additions

DALLAS–Dallas Independent School District officials will gather with students, staff, and community members from Woodrow Wilson High School to break ground for the school's additions. A ground breaking ceremony is scheduled at 10 a.m., Monday, May 23.

As part of the 2008 Bond Program, Woodrow Wilson High School will receive a 15,000 sq. ft. addition.

Also, the school will receive renovations, which include painting of common interior areas, windows and roof replacement as assessed, replacements and upgrades of the mechanical, electric, and plumbing systems, restrooms and campus athletics refurbishments, grounds work, and an addition of three science labs.

Program participants include Principal Ruth Vail; Board Trustee Bernadette Nutall, District 9; East Learning Community Executive Director Regina Jones; Senior Class President Ana Harris; and Troy Harper, Woodrow Wilson High School SBDM. A project scope will be presented by representatives from the construction company.
