Early voting for the May 6 Dallas Independent School District District Trustee Election for two school board seats begins today (Wednesday, April 19) at several locations.
Four candidates have filed for the posts. In District 3 (Northeast Dallas) incumbent Lois Parrott, a college professor, will face challenger David Routon, an executive search consultant. In the District 4 (Southeast Dallas, Seagoville) race, incumbent George Williams, a marketing director, will face Myrthle Siddal, a retired teacher.
Voting is from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday, April 19 through Friday, April 21; Monday, April 24 through Friday, April 28, and Saturday, April 29; also Sunday, April 30, from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
On Monday, May 1, and Tuesday, May 2—the two final early voting days—voting will be held from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
