WHAT:
Hispanic Academic Achievement Recognition Program. All Hispanic students grades K-12, in the DISD who have made the "A" honor roll for the past five (5) six-weeks will receive a certificate recognizing their achievement.
Approximately 1000 students have been confirmed. However, 5000 students and a school representative are expected to attend. In addition, a group of DISD Hispanic parent-authors will present the booklets they have created in which they express themselves through their culture.

Wednesday, May 3, from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Music Hall at Fair Park, 909 First Avenue
OTHER:
Keynote speakers are General Superintendent Waldemar Rojas and the General Consulate of Mexico Luis Ortiz Monasterio.
