Portrait Of An Educator On Loan To Patton Elementary School

The exhibit “Portrait of An Educator: John Leslie Patton Jr.” has been placed on permanent loan at John Leslie Patton Elementary School. To commemorate the event, on Tuesday, September 19, the Dallas Historical Society will host an opening reception at 6 p.m. for the school district, the PTA and exhibit supporters.

In addition to the exhibit, the Dallas Historical Society will work to schedule teacher in-service training to introduce the educational module that is being developed for the exhibit. The information and resources will allow teachers and students an opportunity to further their knowledge about the life of the man for whom the school was named.
