Dallas Inter-Tribal Center And DISD Sixth Annual Career Fair

The Dallas Independent School District will join the Dallas Inter-tribal Center in the celebration of the sixth annual Career Fair 2001 Tuesday, March 27, from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. The event will be held at the Dallas Inter-tribal Center, 209 E. Jefferson.

Other participants in the fair include the Dallas Inter-tribal Center's Employment and Training Department, the Alabama-Coushatta Indian Tribal Council, Ysleta Del Sur Pueblo and the school district's American Indian Education Program. "The purpose of this fair is to inform individuals within the American Indian community about educational and employment opportunities. We have invited several tribal higher education representatives, local colleges, universities and major corporations to participate in this event," said Peggy Larney, DISD program manager-American Indian Education.
