Nathan Adams Elementary will use its technology grant to further English as a Second Language instruction. Teacher Technologist Angelina Kenefick will use the grant to supplement both elementary and intermediate ESL programs to extend the use of technology toward the development of oral language skills. Elementary school students will have access to additional resources in computer labs that enhance their written expression assignments to ensure comprehension. Intermediate students will use new software programs to create multimedia skits and dialogues that reinforce their oral communication. This technology will help facilitate the process toward English literacy for these students.
