The Dallas Symphony Orchestra continues its tradition of acknowledging the role of Hispanic composers, performers and conductors with the ninth annual Hispanic Festival Concert, a rich cultural celebration. The concert, led by guest conductor Carlos Miguel Prieto, will be held Friday, May 25, at 8 p.m. at the Meyerson Symphony Center, 2301 Flora Street, Suite 300. Pre-concert festivities begin at 7 p.m.
The concert includes pre-and post-concert and intermission festivities featuring visual and performing arts. Visual art will be displayed in the Meyerson Symphony Center lobby. Performing artists, including a mariachi band from Sunset High School, dancers from Tango Argentino and musicians from the Dallas Symphony's Young Strings, will perform before the concert, and during intermission.
